Iā€™m a Juan de la Cierva postdoc at the Institute for Game and Wildlife Research (IREC) working with Beatriz Arroyo and Miguel Delibes-Mateos. Iā€™m ongoing various projects that aimed at investigating the human dimensions of social conflicts associated with wildlife. In particular, Iā€™m interested in the construction of ecological knowledge and its legitimacy for biodiversity decision-making, adopting a reflexive posture about development and use of statistical models.

Overall, my research focuses on applied biodiversity conservation, with a particular interest in interdisciplinary approaches using statistical ecology and social sciences to work with stakeholders and to inform public policies.
