Iām a Juan de la Cierva postdoc at the Institute for Game and Wildlife Research (IREC) working with Beatriz Arroyo and Miguel Delibes-Mateos. Iām ongoing various projects that aimed at investigating the human dimensions of social conflicts associated with wildlife. In particular, Iām interested in the construction of ecological knowledge and its legitimacy for biodiversity decision-making, adopting a reflexive posture about development and use of statistical models.
Overall, my research focuses on applied biodiversity conservation, with a particular interest in interdisciplinary approaches using statistical ecology and social sciences to work with stakeholders and to inform public policies.
